As we move forward to take on a new challenge and prepare ourselves for greater ministry, we look forward, guided by our congregational mission statement:KNOW JESUS! TELL ABOUT JESUS! and LOVE AS JESUS LOVES!
We believe God is calling us to greater faithfulness and encouraging us to build a solid foundation for the future
of the ministry at St. John Lutheran Church, so that those
who come after us will be better able to live out this mission
in our congregation, the community, and the world.
Please join us, especially on this Sunday and in the weeks to follow as together we bring our theme to life:
“Growing in Faith, Building in Love.”
Our logo tells the story of our theme. The tree represents God’s growing Kingdom at St. John. The tree leaves are hearts, representing God’s love for us, and our love for each other. The blue color represents a calmness, stability and trust for our new mission. The color green symbolizes our quest for new life, new spirit, growth and energy.
