TEEN BIBLE ENRICHMENT: Teens in grades 9 through 12 gather on Sunday mornings to discuss topics that are of concern to teens today. Teens are highly encouraged to attend this hour-long discussion group to better understand God’s view on these topics that so affect their lives today.CONFIRMATION STATION: For grades 6 and up. We teach the basics of the Christian faith in preparation for Holy Communion and participating more fully in the life of the church. Confirmation class is held on Wednesday nights after school from September through May. Material fee is about $21.00/year.
ADULT BIBLE ENRICHMENT: Adults gather during the Sunday School hour to study a book from the Bible or a specific topic. This is held at the same time as our Sunday School and Teen Bible Enrichment hours. Therefore, we encourage our parents to attend while their children are in Sunday School.
WORSHIP SERVICES: Worship is basic to the Christian life. We hold worship services on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. A nursery is available during the 10:30 a.m. service if your little one cries or fusses. Also, in the late service, we have a Children’s Church Program for all those in grade 1 or younger.
ADULT INSTRUCTION CLASSES: Pastor teaches a membership class for adults interested in becoming “full fledged” adult members. Full members can participate in Holy Communion and can participate more fully in the ministry of the church, such as teaching Adventure Bible Camp, committee work, and parish planning. They enjoy the reward of seeing others come to a more full knowledge of Jesus.
ADVENTURE BIBLE CAMP (ABC): Held during mid-summer, our Adventure Bible Camp is an exciting discovery experience. Children grades Kindergarten through High School are welcome to attend. There is NO FEE for this program.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: For children ages 3 through grade 8. The format is very similar to Vacation Bible School. Children learn about 30 Bible stories each year. Sunday School is held every Sunday from September through May at 9:15 a.m. NO FEE.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH: During the late service (10:30 a.m.) on Sunday, our volunteers lead small children, grade 1 or younger, in a worship service that is geared to their level of understanding. Our teachers present a Bible story and teach worship-related things like the Lord’s Prayer and the Apostle’s Creed. This helps the child to get ready for meaningful participation in the regular worship service as the child matures.
