“Faith saves!” This is a Bible truth, that’s for sure. But true saving faith must be in the right thing. If, for example, I firmly believe that my backyard grill is going to save me eternally, then I will be disappointed and shocked on Judgment Day. For a backyard grill is powerless to save souls. Faith must be well-placed. When Jesus walked on this earth he made the bold claim that anyone who would trust in him would definitely be raised from the dead and eternally saved from hell. He said, “The one who feeds on me will live because of me!” Take time to study these bold claims of Jesus and find great comfort in them. May God bless you as you hear and “digest” this saving “meal.”
