Bethlehem Lutheran Church's Staff
Our Pastor

The Rev. Dr. Karen Kay Young was ordained in June 1997 and accepted a call to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in June of 2000. She and her husband, Paul, have four daughters, two sons-in-law, and two grandsons. Pastor Karen graduated with a BA in Religious Studies from UNC, Chapel Hill, has a Masters of Divinity from Duke University, and her Doctorate of Divinity in the Adult Catechumenate from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. Pastor Karen and her family enjoy camping, boating, kayaking, gardening, fishing.... being outdoors!

Organist/Choir Director

Julie Branham became our Organist/Choir Director in 2007 and we are very delighted to have her husband, Heath, and 3 children, Drew, Libby, and Sydney Grace with us.

Kim Callier is our Secretary. She and her husband, Jeff, enjoy reading and studying. Kim brings humor and publishing skills to her work and she is a blessing to have on our staff team!

Mother's Morning Out/Daybreak Director

Rhonda Holloman serves as our Mother's Morning Out/Daybreak Director AND our awesome Youth Director. She strives to create an environment where the children can learn through play and each other what it means to be a child of God. She also loves her dogs and son, Braeden.
