Sharing God's Love - This is our local food pantry that we support. We collect and donate food for this worthwhile ministry during various church events. Social Ministry Care Fund - funded by donations (used to help members of our congregation that are going through difficult times with needs such as medicine, bills, etc.)
Bethlehem's Keep America Beautiful Adopt-a-Highway Program:
We pick up trash on Broad River Road from I-26 to the split. Minimum age is 13 with a parent or 16 without. Wear long pants and closed shoes. Bring your own work gloves. We will provide orange vests and trash bags. Future clean up dates are February 10, May 15, and August 28 at 10am. If it rains the pick up date will move to the following Saturday. Please come and help beautify God's earth!
CROP Walk - Sunday, November 14, 2010--Registration at the State House starts at 1:30pm; Walk starts at 2:30pm.
This is an ecumenical 5k walk to raise money for hunger worldwide and locally.
You can help by walking or sponsoring a walker.
Harvest Festival Sunday is September 26, 2010--Bring canned goods and a noisy offering for Sharing God's Love!
Giving Tree – During the Christmas season, we put a tree in the narthex with names of needy children and families in Lexington/Richland School District 5. Members and visitors are invited to take a name and buy gifts for these families. This project is sponsored by the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
Transportation: We offer rides to Sunday school and Church Worship services.
Tape Ministry: We provide tapes of our new 10am Worship service to shut-ins that request them.
