A Message from Pastor Ken Kaufmann

Most people refer to me as "Pastor Ken". It has been my joy and privilege to be the Pastor of St. Paul's since the summer of 1983. In those years God has blessed the congregation as well as me and my family in extraordinary ways. We have grown in numbers, in facilities, in programs and ministries but most importantly, in spiritual life and service to God.

Not everyone can say they live in a rural area minutes from a major airport but such is the blessing of living in Cheney. The airport for Wichita is but a 20 minute drive on a modern 4 lane highway. Characterized as a small town, Cheney has become a bedroom community for Wichita that continues to practice and promote the connections of life in a small town of generations ago. Schools (public & parochial) are strong, government is progressive, people are friendly with property and possessions usually very secure. My many years at St. Paul's testifies both to the quality of people and the quality of life in Cheney and at the congregation.
