Welcome to our web page. Zion Lutheran Church has offered a Word and Sacrament ministry here in Clifton, Illinois since its was founded in 1897.

Our Mission Statement that was established several years ago can be summed up by the words, "Belong, Believe, Become." We at Zion as part of the Lutheran tradition believe that we BELONG to Jesus Christ by our baptism, We BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is our Lord and savior and gives us His forgiveness through his death and resurrection. And we believe that through the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives we can BECOME the people God calls us to be.

We hope this web page giveas you a sense of who we are, gives you some information about what is happening at Zion, and encourages you to come an join us in our fellowship and mission.
