| I. SUNDAY MORNING ADULT STUDY BEGINS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH, (following the 9:30 worship hour). This program year's study group will tackle such issues The Minimum Wage, Immigrantion, War & Peace, The Middle East, and Poverty from a Christian perspective. Come and help us discuss these important isues. We will use new study resources from The National Council of Churches and Sojourner's. The first study beginning, Sunday, September 17, following worship and Coffee N' Fellowship, is entitled, "A Just Minimum Wage." | II. WEDNESDAY MORNING STUDY GROUPBegins Wednesday, September 23, 10:00 a.m., and will meet in the Chapel and Study Room. This year's study is entitled "The Jesus I Never Knew." This study is for those who have been raised in the church and have known Jesus all their lives, and for those who are meeting Jesus for the first time. Philip Yancey, author of the study, challenges us to think about this man as the Bible presents him, brilliant, creative, challenging, fearless, compassionate, unpredictable, and faithful. WEDNESDAY EVENING FELLOWSHIP MEAL AND STUDY BEGINS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 AT 6:15.Please join us Wednesday evening for a Soup Supper that begins at 6:15 p.m. in the fellowship area of the sanctuary. Begins September 23RD. And then stay for the small group adult study that begins at 6:45 p.m. Pastor John will co-lead a study entitled "Companions In Christ." A Small-Group Experience In Spiritual Formation. "Companions In Christ" offers a powerfully renewing experience that builds spiritual practices to help you share more fully in the life of Christ and to live out Christ's teachings more effectively in your daily life. Come and be part of this new small group experience. |
| III. FRIDAY MORNING ADULT STUDY GROUPThis study group begins meeting again in September on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. Over a cup of coffee or tea you will learn more about the New Testament. This study is led by Pastor Kim and meets in the chapel. |
