Our History
Emanuel Lutheran Church was organized on September 11, 1886 as The Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church of Crompton.

The church structure was erected in 1896 with the Parsonage, or Parish House, built in 1902. Over the years, Emanuel has had several expansion and renovation projects with the most recent being the addition of the Youth Center, completed in 2001.

In 1949, church services in the Swedish language were discontinued. All services today are in English.
