Happy November!!It is hard to believe it is really November when we are still enjoying 65 to 70 degree weather…WOW…it feels like summer some days in the sun. I just wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that we have updated our blog (http://tjernagelspain.blogspot.com/) with three new stories. We are praying that the pictures and the stories are helping you know how better to pray and giving you a visual of where we are and what we are up to.
Thank you for standing with us through prayer. We are convinced that God is all powerful, ever present, and always attention to the cries of His children. We also know that He longs to see more and more Spaniards choosing to follow Him. Keep praying with us!!!
Praises:
1) The Harvest party for the English classes went well. The kids had a blast and the parents were amazed that we would take the time to prepare a party for the kids.
2) We continue to hear from Regin, our Danish friend. She continues to want to know more about Jesus.
Prayer concerns:
1) I, Paula, am due for my next treatment for my RA. This is the treatment I receive through an oncologist. We are so happy with the results of the medication. My body is starting to show signs of needing medication…my shoulder is having a flare up and my energy is low. Please pray that we will be able to connect with the doctor and get a date set for the treatment...this is not a simple thing but for God it is!!
2) We are beginning to plan for the Christmas outreach that we will have in December. This can be a source of MUCH stress among the members of the church. Please pray that instead of dividing us, it will unify us for God’s glory. Pray that many people in the neighborhood will choose to come. We will keep you updated.
3) Next Friday, November 13th, I am heading up to Bejar, a town an hour north of here along with a member of our church, MariJose, to do an outreach using crafts. Pray that God will encourage MariJose TONS in this effort. She is an amazingly gifted lady and it is awesome to see her want to use her gifts for Jesus. Pray also that the contacts that the ladies in Bejar have will attend the meeting. Pray that God will reach their hearts.
Your prayers are being heard,
In His Grip,
Paula for Tim and the kids
