We Need A Little Help From Our Friends
A lot of our materials and supplies come from donations from our friends and families. This helps us keep our costs down. If you have any of the following things lying around and aren't planning on using them, please drop them by for our kids.

We could use:
Contact paper
Elmer's glue
Beads
Markers
Construction paper
Q-tips
Glue sticks
Buttons
Low-temp glue sticks
Colored feathers
Paint
Glitter glue
Glitter
Colored curling ribbon
Lunch bags
Foam shapes
Colored pom-poms
Cupcake liners
Crepe paper
Elastic cord for beading
Karo syrup
Popcorn
White packing peanuts
Cotton balls
Wrapping paper scraps

Thank you so much for your help!

Child Board News
Our Child Center Board of Directors are always working to improve service to the parents and children of our center. Last week we discussed the payment policy. We were finding that we needed to clarify certain areas to streamline the billing process. .... We changed the billing date to read "by the 1st working day of the month" so that if the 1st falls on a Saturday, as it does quite often, we will accept payment on the next open day of the Center. After that, the late fee will be applied.

Also, we are requiring that calendars by turned in by the 20th to allow more time for billing. After the 20th we will bill out an estimated amount depending on previous months usage if we have not received a calendar. If the amount is not correct, you will carry a credit or owe us the next billing round. If you need to add on a day after you have completed your calendar, please pay for that day when you use it. We want to eliminate the add-on billing. If your already-paid-for half day changes into a full day, you will be charged another half day.

I talked with several parents before bringing about these changes. If you have suggestions, please feel free to let us know. Talk to me, Chris, or put a note in the parent turn-in basket. I take suggestions to the Board of Directors. We meet usually once every month.

Breakfast is Served!
Breakfast will be served to those children arriving by 7:45. We will not serve those arriving later because we need to be finished with breakfast by 8:00 A.M.
Kids Still Need Warm Clothing
Please continue to provide warm clothing for your child. Gloves, hats and occasionally boots are needed for these chilly wet days.
Immunizations
Our County health nurse found 5 children to be non-compliant as to updated health records. Non-compliant status means we cannot have the child in daycare until shots are updated!
