Through the years the Ladies Aid, now known as the WELCA, has had many projects. Several quilts have been made for Lutheran World Relief. Cookies were sent for years to the Lutheran Home at Clifton, TX. Now we have the Lutheran Home of West Texas at Lubbock, cookies and other items are sent there. Girls Town has been a project for many years. Soup labels are saved for Wee Care Center to help get needed supplies. Each Easter and Thanksgiving food is collected for the Faith- in- Sharing- House in Plainview. Esther Brasher has made quilts each year to send to Clifton Home for their annual auction. In 2000 she pieced and quilted a quilt with Texas as the theme. It sold for $1500. Each year the Women sponsor a Family Christmas dinner. Chrismons were made many years ago for the Christmas tree at the church and they are still used each year. Numerous other projects have been done through the years. Several banners have been made for use in the church.
The Sunday School has not only taught the scriptures to young and old alike but it has had many other projects of interest to the church. A children's Christmas program and candlelight service is held each Christmas Eve. This has been a tradition for many years and many former members come back at this time. The Pheasant Breakfast has probably been the most interesting and rewarding endeavor as it brings many hunters and neighbors together for fellowship. The Sunday School has entered a float in the Floyd County parade, Old Settler's Day in Floydada and Plainview, a Christmas parade in Plainview and Lubbock. They are responsible for Family Camp each year. This is an inspiration as well as a fun time for the children and the adults. An annual "Welcome Back" picnic/steak-fry is held in September. Sunday School also sponsors teens to the Free Lutheran Youth meetings in Estes Park, and special events.
Trinity has joined other churches in the community for a joint Thanksgiving service. The church assists the Gideons in their program of presenting Bibles to children and to prisons and placing Bibles in hotel rooms.
Memorials and contributions were used to build a 18 foot high tower with 13 foot arm span in the shape of a cross to hold the old bell from the first church tower, which had been stored for several years. The bell was cast in 1879 and was given to Trinity Congregation by a church in Prairie Hill, Texas. It is equipped with an electrical switch. It is rung each Sunday as a call to worship. It was dedicated on May 5, 1985.
Trinity celebrated 90 years of ministry in 2001 with a special service and fellowship. In 1987 Trinity Lutheran Church united with other congregations to form the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and joined the Word Alone movement in 2002.
