WORSHIP SERVICES
Worship at St. Paul is centered in glorifying God — the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Services are held every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. All are welcome.FAMILY CHRISTIAN EDUCATION HOUR
Many dedicated Sunday School teachers provide fun, faith-based Christian instruction to children every Sunday at 10:45 a.m. All children, Preschool through 12th grade, are welcome to attend.
ADULT BIBLE HOUR
An Adult Bible class meets each Sunday morning
during the Family Christian Education Hour. Lead by Pastor Lemke, the class covers various topics and in depth Bible Study, in a casual and friendly atmosphere.
MUSIC PROGRAM
St. Paul has a strong musical heritage.Talented musicians and directors work to enhance worship services and provide an opportunity to praise God with music. The Adult Choir meets weekly and preforms at 2-3 services each month. The Youth Choir and the Children’s Choir incorporate their practices into the Sunday School hour. Special music is also provided by groups like the Spirit Singers, members and special guests.
LADIES AID
The St. Paul Ladies Aid is affiliated with LWML —
Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. It is a women’s fellowship and missionary group that provides spiritual growth and opportunities for Christian outreach. Meetings are held monthly and include devotions, a special program topic and fellowship. Smaller service groups, including a monthly quilting group, work on special projects and serve all church events.
MEN OF FAITH
An early morning Bible study, prayer, and fellowship group for men that meets every Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.
WOMAN OF THE WORD
An early morning Bible study, prayer, and fellowship group for women that meets every Thursday at 6:30 a.m.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Fun, fun, fun! One week each spring area children age Kindergarten through 8th grade celebrate Gods love and grow in faith at Vacation Bible School. Activities include crafts, music, prayer, praise and a special mission project.
LYF (Lutheran Youth Fellowship)
This group of teens meet twice a month for fun, fellowship and volunteer activities. Any teen 9th through 12th grade is welcome to join.
LUTHERAN LAYMAN LEAGUE
Lutheran Layman League is a men’s fellowship and missionary group. It is currently involved in a weekly dart ball league with other area churches.
LAMPLIGHTERS
This Christian outreach group provides fellowship and spiritual growth to homebound persons in the community.
FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Beat cabin fever — Family Fun Night is held every other Sunday evening mid-January through March. Fun-loving people of all ages gather for a casual night of games and fellowship. Child care is available. Bring your favorite snack to share.
TAPE MINISTRY
Worship services are recorded (VCR and audio tapes)
and available to anyone for viewing or listening. St. Paul services are also shown on local access cable channel 12, Mondays at 1:00 p.m.
LUTHERANS FOR LIFE (Sioux Valley Chapter)
The mission of this group is to educate and provide information to the public regarding the sanctity of all human life. This active group meets every other month, all are welcome.
THRIVENT VOLUNTEER SERVICE TEAM
(St. Paul Lutheran Congregational Service Team of the Cherokee County Chapter of Thrivent Financial)
This volunteer group is involved in many benevolent activities, like fund raising, matching funds, and volunteer work, in the church and community.
VOTER'S ASSEMBLY
The St. Paul Voter’s assembly meets quarterly and establishes general policy and makes major decisions. Any member of St. Paul over the age of 18 is eligible to become a member.
