Serving Our Members and the Community
Below are some of the activities that we have at All Saints during the year to promote fellowship and to help others in our community.
Fellowship Group
We have events for all adult members to attend which are communicated in the bulletin and bulletin board frequently. These include items such as:
- Euchre Game nights (every few months)
- Dinner at local restaurants
- Bingo night (typically February)
- Museum Center trips
- Day at River Downs for horse races
- Cincinnati Reds games
- Annual All Saints Picnic
WELC
This is our women's group that plans numerous activities to help our church. They also go out to dinners every few months to enjoy fellowship together.
Readyfest Donations/ Fundraiser
This is an annual event in August where we help agencies in Clermont County to provide much needed school items to the needy. We take donations of various school supplies such as pencils, paper, crayons. Monetary donations are matched by our Thrivent Chapter so the supplies can be purchased directly to meet any additional school supply needs.
Mitten Tree for the Needy
Every Christmas, we collect clothing for the needy such as mittens, hats, scarves and socks. These are given to the YWCA and Child Focus of Clermont County to help those who can't afford them to have additional layers of clothing to keep them warm during the winter.
Ronald McDonald House
We collect pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House to help generate funds for families to stay with their children while they are in the hospital. It's amazing to see how our tabs from pop, tuna, pet food, soup and other cans add up to help this cause.
Once Around Thrift Shop
Many members help provide volunteer help at OATS. We also collect clothing and other items to help those locally who are in need. See the OATS web page on this All Saints website for additional information on how to help OATS.

Navajo Mission
We collect Campbell's Soup labels and General Mills box tops to help those at the Navajo Mission. They were able to buy a van with these donations from various churches.
Eyeglasses for the Needy
We collect old eyeglasses to help those who can't afford them. Eye doctors work to match prescriptions to available donations to help those in need.
Toiletries for the Crisis Center
We collect unused soap, shampoo, mouthwash and other sample size toiletries to help those in the Crisis Center who have moved to the Center to avoid additional abuse.
Camp Heartland
Camp Heartland helps kids with family members or themselves have AIDS. This is a camp where they can go for a week and feel like a normal kid and try to briefly forget about the pain caused by this disease. We collect money in May/June top help these childrem. Donations are used to provide gift certificates for kids at this camp for such places as McDonalds, Toys-R-Us and Blockbuster video.
Baby Bottle Blessings
We conduct this fundraiser once a year on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday in February. Members fill baby bottles with spare change, money or checks. Proceeds are used to help women and teens facing untimely pregnancies to help save a newborn's life.
Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts
Our church opens our doors every Monday to a local Boy Scout chapter which has included several of our youth (some of which obtained the highest level award of Eagle Scout). This helps our boys to learn values and help others in our community.
Alcoholics Anonymous
Our church opens our doors every Monday evening to a local Alcoholics Anonymous support group where they help each other deal with the emotional and physical impacts of alcoholism.
Blood Drives and Life Line Exams
Each year, we coordinate a blood drive and health screen. The Life Line Screen use Doppler Ultrasound to check for the following:
- Cartoid Artery/ Stroke screen visualizes fatty plaque buildup and measures the velocity of blood flow to the brain
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm screen detects enlargement or weak area in the main blood vessel carrying blood from the heart to the rest of the body
- Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) screen check for PAD which is where arteries to the arms/ legs become narrow or clogged slowing blood flow to determine if treatment is needed to prevent heart attack or stroke
- Osteoporosis screen is performed with a quantitative ultrasound bone densitometer to determine future fracture risk
