Harvest Home Celebration 2007 |

The Harvest Home Celebration is a tradition that goes back many years. Years ago, our congregation was made up mostly of farmers. They liked to gather in the fall for a big celebration to give thanks for their harvests. Today, we don't have as many farmers, but still like to gather to give thanks for the harvest, family, friends, and for God's many blessings. |

Design For A Cure |

St. Paul participated in the A.W.A.R.E Department of the Kingsville Women's Club's "Design for a Cure" fundraiser. Various groups designed a table to seat 8. There was a silent and live auction. Funds raised were sent to M.D. Anderson for breast cancer research. Early reports show that the event raised over $20,000. Our table was named Flame of Faith. It was designed by ladies of the congregation, and featured the brass cross from our original church dating 1912.

100th Anniversary of the Texas District - LCMS |

It's here! The Centennial Year has finally arrived! It only took us 100 years to get here -- a mere blink of an eye in God's perfect timing. The history of this Texas District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod is filled with stories of people of courage, people of faith, and people of God. Ultimately were it not for the saving grace of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, none of these stories would have any meaning or purpose, and our entire history would truly be meaningless. St. Paul celebrated the anniversary on February 19, 2006. We were treated to a special service, followed by a celebratory brunch complete with an anniversary cake.
