Brad Otto, the second son of the congregation to enter the ministry, was Ordained at United Evangelical Lutheran Church, Swiss Alp on Saturday July 16, 2005. The Gulf Coast Bishop and the above clergy were present. Brad graduated from Wartburg Seminary and Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago through the Lutheran Seminary Program of the Southwest, Austin, Texas on May 17, 2005 with a Master of Divinity Degree. Prior to his four years in the Seminary he attended Texas Lutheran University, Seguin, Texas and received his B.S. Degree. Brad is the son of Wayne and Nora Otto of La Grange and a graduate of La Grange High School. He and his family are life long members of Swiss Alp Lutheran Church.
Brad was Called by Covenant Lutheran Church, 3850 Barker Cypress Rd., Houston, Texas 77084-3931, phone 281-578-8799 and was installed July 17, 2005 as Associate Pastor. He continues to serve in that position.
Brad and Stacie were married at United Evangelical Lutheran Church on June 18, 2005.
Clarence Hagens, first son of the congregation to enter the ministry, observed his 50th anniversary of Ordination in June of 2005.
