Mission Statement
Our purpose at the Lutheran Chapel of Hope is to reach the students of Southeast Missouri State University with the Word of God founded in unerring Scripture. It is sharing the Law and Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We confess that through the Law man is sinful, the enemy of God, condemned to death both physically and eternally. We confess that through the Gospel God has provided the forgiveness of our sins through the death of Jesus Christ. We seek to serve Him with our lives for what He has done for us, not fearing death for we know we will live forever with Him in heaven. It is our goal to provide these opportunities through Worship, Bible Studies, and Fellowship for all students to hear His message.
