Today we thanked Lorene Palisch (grandmother of Royce Bohnert and Joe Strauser) and her grand-daughter, Arielle Bohnert (sister of Royce) for providing, preparing and serving our lunch. It was very tasty. Many thanks.Parking on the grass is once again permitted as long as we do not get any more rain. Thanks to all those who did not park on the grass during our recent "rainy week."
Katie Reed asked for volunteers to meet on a weekend and bring portable vacuum cleaners with them to clean our upholstered furniture and clean under the cushions. Those who volunteered were Katie Reed, Erica Bock and Jared Mueller. Thanks so much for your willingness to help keep things clean in our Student Center. It is always refreshing to have students step up to the plate to help. Thanks so much!
Christmas caroling is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4th, 6:00 PM at the Lutheran Home. Scott Schwiesow will bring song pamphlets with him for the singing.
In our prayers today we remembered: Sam Kluesner, brother of Michelle, who is graduating from Navy Tech School and waiting for assignment; Rebecca who had back surgery and Ben Meyr whose foot is still healing, as well as all our veterans and those presently serving in the Armed Forces, and also all those affected by the sinful and shameful shooting at Ft. Hood, Texas.
Our next Sunday worship service is this Sunday, Nov. 15th, 5:00 PM, with communion and supper that follows. All are invited to attend if you are not able to attend your home church.
Because of Thanksgiving Break, there is no Bible Study on Nov. 25th and no Divine Worship on Nov. 29th.
