Wash the meat. cover with cold water. Add all the seasoning and sliced onion. Bring to a simmer. Simmer for 4 hours add Potatoes and Carrots. Simmer for another hour. Add Cabbage. Simmer for 15 minutes. Good with horseradish sauce.
