* Just a short memo for all families about the many things happening at St. Paul Sunday School. We have been enjoying out time at the Marketplace the past two Sunday's and look forward to Palm Sunday, when we will complete our 3 week in the year 29AD. If you missed the first two, do not miss the last one!* Also, we now have a "Seed of Faith" table at the entrance to the Growth Center. There are many available hand outs as well as pictures and booklets about past Sunday School events. There are also other free things you may take. PLEASE take some time and check out this table every Sunday. You do not want to be left out of information we have to share!
|
* On Easter Sunday, April 12th, we will be showing a movie, "The Story of Jesus for Children". We will start right at 9:00 as it is 1 hour long and we hope to have a good turnout. So... come for the Easter breakfast and join us for the movie.* Speaking of this movie, we will have copies of it available for purchase for $5 each. This is a wonderful story, geared toward younger children and families, so take time on Easter Sunday and come preview it. Any time you want to purchase a copy or even one for a friend, too, see a Sunday School Staff member! (We will NOT have lessons on Easter Sunday, just the movie).

* Do not forget to keep collecting monies in your Habitat House Banks. If you need another one, or never got one, ask your teacher. We will turn them in towards the end of April. Remember, every donation helps build this home!* And last, but not least, plan on coming to the Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th at 11:00 AM. We hear there will be crafts, games, refreshments, and of course and egg hunt with prizes! This is a first for St. Paul, so let's make it fun and hopefully an annual event. Imagine! . . . 1,000 eggs with goodies inside - WOW! Bring a friend too to share in the fun.

* One more thing, we are talking about a possible Sunday School Cookbook with recipes from staff and families, so start bringing your favorites in and give them to your teacher. This could be a great item to share with others as well as telling others about our great Sunday School! You can bring in more that 1 recipe, just make sure directions are written clearly and your name is on it so we know who brings it in. You can even add your own comments, like: "We have this every year at our Easter dinner", or "This is a favorite snack for after school at our house". If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. |
