The Special Gathering of Walterboro

The Special Gathering of Walterboro, a division of The Special Gathering, Inc., is a para church ministry within the special needs (mentally challenged) community. We meet every Sunday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. in the fellowship hall of Good Shepherd. We have a full worship service with refreshments following. We also give out groceries on most Sundays. Special Gathering provides parties and social gatherings to the participants as funds allow. We are extremely thankful to Good Shepherd for your kindness to us through the use of the fellowship hall, the financial aid, and the social activities you provide.

The staff of Special Gathering are Ferne and Kelly Brandt. The members of the Special Gathering board are Christine Coffin, Melvin Solomon, John Byrd, Debbie Hudson and Kevin Wicker.
