For the Sewing Kits:
3 yards fabric (cotton or cotton blend)
One spool of matching thread
One card of 6 or more buttons
One package of needles for hand sewing
NOTE: If you have fabric, new spools of thread, or buttons, we will take them and use them to make kits.

Items for the Layettes (sizes up to 24 months):
Onesies, undershirts, or plain t-shirts
Gowns or sleepers
Receiving blankets
Cloth diapers
Wash cloths
Bath-size bars of soap
Diaper pins
Sweaters or sweatshirts (Sweaters may be purchased or hand knitted or crocheted from leftover yarn. They may also be sewn from heavy double knit fabric. Preferred styles have buttons or ties down the front.)

Soap will also be collected for Lutheran World Relief. New bars of soap as well as any of the above items may be placed in the box in the hall below the mailboxes.
