VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
	SonTreasure Island - What a success! Over 65 children participated in this wonderful adventure. Thank you to all who helped in any way. Check out the photos of some of our activities from the week of learning and fun. VBS Offerings will go to assist with Guinea Mission projects.

SUMMER PROJECTS

Throughout the summer months, the LWML Guild is sponsoring a collection of items to be used in Sewing Kits and Layettes for Lutheran World Relief. During July, we are concentrating on the sewing kits. Items needed for the Sewing Kits include:
3 yards fabric (cotton or cotton blend)
Packaged needles for hand sewing

NOTE: We have plenty of thread and buttons on hand for assembling the kits.

A LEARN TO CROCHET CLASS will be held Wednesday, July 26. If you are interested, please contact Diane in the church office.
Anyone who is interested in sewing and/or quilting is invited to attend the Tuesday evening sessions – bring your own project or help make quilts for mission projects.

FROM THE VOTERS’ MEETING

Since the Oettings are no longer serving as missionaries in Guinea, our congregational support of that mission had to be redirected. At the July 12 Voters’ Meeting, members made a decision to continue support of the Guinea Mission field. They voted to divide all contributions to the Oetting/Guinea Mission fund for the remainder of this year between the Heiney family and Andrea Herman who are currently serving there.
