Pastor Steve holds a Ph.D. in systemic theology from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago and an M.Div. from Christ Seminary-Seminex in St. Louis. Pr. Steve is currently an associate professor of Religious Studies at Cardinal Stritch University and previously taught at Saint Francis Seminary. He represents the Synod on the Unity and Relations Committee of the Wisconsin Council of Churches and on the Milwaukee Area Lutheran, Anglican, Roman Catholic Dialogue Commission. He is the current president of “The Crossings Community” which is an international community of clergy and lay working to improve Christian ministry in the secular world through educational programs, research, publication and networking with kindred spirits. He is also a member of the Institute for Theological Encounter with Science and Technology (ITEST) where he has published essays and presented. In addition, Pastor Steve has presented at several clergy conferences and workshops.
