It's Thursday, that means Bible Study! | This group gets together every Thursday morning for Bible Study w/Martha Needham. This group invites all to join it, young, old, men, and women.In August, they visited the Franciscan Monastery in Kennebunkport, Maine. After checking out the chapel, gift shop, guest house, and walked the pathways to the ocean, they had lunch in Wells, dessert in Perkins Cove, and then onto to Nubble Light in York. They can't wait to do it again!! |

Now onto Bible Study. | The Breakfast Club, which is a group of men who get together between once or twice a month for breakfast and then Bible Study. This group, although new, has even taken on the task of organizing our first ever Strawberry Festival, which was a HUGE success! |

The ladies hard at work! | | The Women On Eagle's Wings meeting every Monday night for Bible Study and then every 6 weeks takes a two week break. During the breaks we go out to dinner, do a workshop, see a movie, basically just have fun! |

Read HOW many chapters? | | The confirmation class has been revised and is now a two year class instead of three. Pastor Wayne and Simon Lucas jointly teach this class of 8th and 9th graders. |

Come and get it!!! | This past summer the Outback Steakhouse came to Emanuel to hold it's 1st of many to come fundraisers. The money received from this will help fund our Sunday School for the next year. |

Make room for me! | Another great year at Camp Calumet!!! Sarah made cookies with all the kids names so they could decorate them at Calumet this year. Lots of fun activities! A great time was had by all! |

Sitting back relaxing! | It didn't matter whether we were making ice cream, pies, tie-dye shirts or just sitting back relaxing at the staff house, it was the perfect weekend in the perfect company at the perfect location!!! We all can't wait for next year. |

Hold still for your blessing! | On September 16, 2006, Pastor Wayne gave a small Blessing of the Animals service outside the church. We had dogs, guinea pigs, and pictures of those pretty felines. And all were quite eager for their blessing! |
