WELCA is the womans group for Christ Lutheran. We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the church. We have a business meeting and a Bible study. All ladies of the church are members and are encouraged and welcome to attend.September through May, several members quilt every Tuesday morning from 9 until noon at the church. The quilts go to Lutheran World Relief. No skills, machines, or equipment is needed. We will train. All are welcome to come for fun and fellowship.
We also make the following kits: midwife, bandages, hospice, sewing, layette, health, and school kits.
Join us for quilting 8:30 AM Tuesday mornings in the fellowship hall.
Join the knitting and crocheting mission and help make prayer shawls. Contact Edna Hoffman at 723-2059.
On the 4th Wednesday of each month, we go to Orchard Manor and play Bingo with the residents. We also help to stock and work at the Food Pantry. When asked, we also serve funeral luncheons at the church.
