Our family has been changing the last few years. Melissa is now out of UNCC and working at Shaw Group in Charlotte. Michael works near the Lowe's Motor Speedway at Whirlwind Designs as a graphic designer. He is also the lead guitar for the group Drop D.
Drop D in Concert
Drop D's lead singer is a DJ on 106.1. He really does not like much of the music he plays on the radio.... it is just a job! But he loves the music the band plays and he loves Michael. They are really good together. They play as a full band and Mike and DZL play togther with accoustical guitars in other shows. Mike is Awsome!!
Melissa's College Graduation
Melissa graduated cum laude on May 13th, 2006 at UNCC in Electrical Engineering. She works now at Shaw Group in Charlotte. She is currently working on a job that they are doing for Duke Power and their power stations. She is familiar with the power stations because she worked for Duke the summer and Christmas before graduation and visited most all of them. She did an internship with Duke, but when it came graduation time, Duke has a hiring freeze and was trying to place workers from another company that they had bought. Bad time to get a job.

You went to be with Jesus on the morning of May 16th, 2004. You had suffered so long knowing all that was going on with a good mind, but your body was just not cooperating with you. Time had taken it's toll. We hated seeing you suffer, but hated to give you up. We will see you again. Until then.....
Trip to Indianapolis to see Colts beat Bengals

December 2006 Indianapolis Trip
Our entire family has such a great time going to Indianapolis this past December. It was just so much fun. We stayed downtown at the Hyatt Regency. The hotel had a tailgate party before the game. We all got colts Santa hats. Hope we can do this again.
Cabin at West Jefferson
We have been renting this out carefully to people who we think will take care of it. So far it has worked out good and all of the people love it. They are even starting to reserve dates in the future.
