That is such Good News! It is this Good News that lives within the membership at Calvary. The members are grateful and thankful to Jesus for dying on the cross for their sins and through His resurrection they have the assurance that heaven is their home. It is this Good News that the members and I would like to share with you.

Jesus loves you! He loves you and is your friend in all circumstances in your life. You can join with Joseph Scriven, who wrote “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” in saying

Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge –
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee;
Thou wilt find a solace there.

Yes, you are Jesus’ friend. No matter what is happening in your life right now, Jesus is there for you as you put your trust and faith in Him.
