Zion has active YOUTH and MISSIONS programs.Our youth group engages in social and servant events & participates in LIPY-CM: Lutheran Inter-Parish Youth of Central MA for an annual Mission Trip, bi-monthly social & servant events and attending the New England Synod Youth Gathering (Hammonasset).
Parish Mission work includes:
>Inter-Faith Hospitality Network hosting
>Liberian Aid storage depot and support through Concordia Lutheran-Worcester
>Concordia's Kid's Express (LOGOS)
>Jeremiah's Inn
>Worcester Veteran's Shelter
>Abby's House
to name but a few.
Zion hosts the Lutheran Community Services' David Forsberg program and the Lutheran Social Services immigrant resettlement furniture depot.
Zion is host to two AA groups, one of which has been meeting continuously @ Zion for 59 plus years.
Two Girl Scout, one Brownie and a Cub Scout troop meet regulary as does a Webelos unit.
The MA Archaeological Society tryipcally meets monthly in our Palmer Room.
