Fellowship Smorgasbord '08
Zion's roots are ethnically Swedish, founding assisted by the former Norton Company (now Saint-Gobain). In the 1980's Faith Lutheran of Worcester, an ethinically Finnish parish, moved to join with Zion.

Today Zion has is embracing diversification. You can still find queues of Scandinavian heritage throughout the church facilities. However, Zion is a WELCOMING parish for those of ALL ethnic backgrounds. CHECK US OUT!!!

LIPY-CM began in September 2004 as a joint effort for first-of-the-month youth get-togethers between 3 area ELCA parishes. We have grown to now include 6 parishes that meet bi-monthly, sponser an annual Mission Trip, and split our events between servant and social activities.

Pastor Andrew, with the help of Pastor Andrew Simon of Zion-Oxford, started LIPY-CM while an intern @ Immanuel-Holden and has brought the leadership for this vital youth ministry to Zion-Worcester as its headquarters.
