Hello! I am Pastor Teri Forbes, also a teacher - both of young children (birth through 9) and higher education continuing ed classes. We welcome you to our website. The Five Room School approach is something I created for my very sensory-oriented children to enrich their general education and to provide them a way to capture social relationships and faith relationships -- both with God and neighbor -- in a way that builds them for life! President Bio: Teri Lynn Forbes is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, where she has served for 8 1/2 years. In the process of raising her own children, she has developed an educational system based on sensory and social development that hands-on, but is different from the Montessori system in that it involves in depth involvement in community and church, conceptualizing development through relationship, music and art in interaction with people of faith.

Teri's expertise in education comes from having served in preschools and Montessori environments - and in working with seniors and persons of all ages with disabilities, including learning delays and autism. Teri has written her master's thesis on "Inclusiveness for Persons with Disabilities in Church and Community" and continues to serve the community in the field of education and continuing education.
