District Disaster Plan Protocols: The documents you find here are the pro forma materials prepared and distributed by the Disaster Response Office of LC-MS Department of World Relief and Human Care. The protocols and documents in place for each District or Synod may vary depending on the actions taken by each of those entities. The documents available here are for the purposes of providing sample protocols to be adapted to fit the circumstances of each judicatory.

What You Will Find:

1) An organizational chart showing the lines of communication among the various entities.

2) The District Disaster Response Plan contains ideas for a coordinated and collaborated response in times of disaster.

3) The District Disaster Response Coordinator job description provides details for the duties to be carried out by the person responsible for overseeing disaster response in the District or Synod.

4) The District Disaster Response Team job description provides details for the duties to be carried out by the District or Synod disaster team.
