Faith Lutheran Air Conditioning and Heating Committee
In January of 2008 the Faith Lutheran Church Council approved the formation of a heating and air conditioning committee formed for the express purpose of researching possible heating/cooling systems that might be installed at Faith Lutheran with the goal of reducing or eliminating LP fuel costs while adding air conditioning. After numerous meeings and several bids, the committee presented a recommendation for a geo-thermal system with electric back-up to the council on July 13, 2008. The council accepted their recommendation which was then also approved by the congregation on Sunday, July 20, 2008. Installation of the system was prior to the 2008-09 heating season.

Thanks committee for a job well done! Faith Lutheran is going "green"!

The Faith Lutheran Church begins the process of putting in their
new geothermal system. Mort's crew arrived about the end of August and as you can see by the pictures alot of digging had to be done. Trenches were dug and huge piles of dirt were made. When they were done everything was leveled off. After that work
will be done inside the church. Hopefully, by the time it is all done we will have a church that will be operating much more efficiently and we will save alot on the utility bills for the upcoming year.
