Moy's Mission
Moy Langhorst a life long member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Moose Lake Minnesota enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps soon after his graduation from high school. Moy believed that by becoming a Marine he could serve both his God and country. On April 6, 2004 Moy’s squad of Marine infantrymen were attacked in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. Moy and another Marine were killed in action with several others wounded. Moy’s purpose for going to Iraq was to bring peace and freedom to the Iraqi people. Faithful to the very end, Moy experienced nineteen years of the Peace and freedom found only in Jesus Christ. Moy desired this same Peace for the people of the Middle East and the sacrifice of his earthly life has made it financially possible for him/us to continue his mission.
