Volunteer Short Term Misionaries to Kyrgyzstan
In September 2008 Kelly, Greg and Fred journeyed to Kyrgyzstan where they installed glass in windows where it was missing or broken. In 2009, Greg, Ryan and Elmer went to install new exterior doors and begin construction of a dance studio.
Greg Miller is married to a loving and supportive wife, Marty. They have two daughters Hannah and Shannon. He have been a member of Christ Lutheran Church for over 20 years. Greg recently retired from the Nebraska State Historical Society. His activities include teaching part-time at Southeast Community College and Greg looks forward to serving in the church's mission field during his retirement.	Kelly Downing is employed by Valmont Industries. He has a background in agricultural engineering and works in international sales and marketing. Kelly is married to DeeAnn. They enjoy being grandparents. Kelly is a long time member of Christ Lutheran church. Missions are a special passion for Kelly.
Elmer Smith and his wife Bonnie live in Lincoln, Nebraska and serve a small rural church in Sterling, Nebraska. He is a Pastor and Bonnie is a retired teacher. They have 2 grown children and 2 grandsons.	Ryan Voelker is a high school math teacher and football coach. He has also been a missionary to Haiti.
