S.A.L.T. BOX - Twice a month in the S.A.L.T. Box building on meal nights, there is a lot going on! We are not just serving food, we are serving fellowship, praying, providing a place for others to get together and laugh and praise the Lord. Everyone is invited to join us for this meal. Yes, there are always great meals prepared by our wonderful volunteer cooks , but we also have great spiritual meals being served. Our guests are fulfilled by great food and great company. We would love to have you join our mission in the kitchen. We are in need of cooks and dining room volunteers for the remaining months of the year. Experience is not necessary. You won't be alone; help will be providedPlease prayerfully consider this calling and join in the Lords mission for St. John Lutheran. Identity Theft Seminar - Jackson Township Police will hold an Identity Theft Seminar on Saturday, November 5, 2011, 6:00 p.m. at the Jackson Township Police Dept. All are welcome to attend.

Board of Finance |
|
St. John Lutheran Church changed insurance company last week. We now have a contract with Erie Insurance. New policy not only saves church $525.00 yearly but has greater coverage. Normal retail for our new policy is $6300.00 that covers church, salt box, pavilion and rest of our property. Our cost was $4900.00 or a 22% discount thanks to Dan Chu and his staff. Due to the many exercise classes held in our salt box, many insurance companies we received quotes from were not competitive with Church Mutual our last insurer or current Erie Insurance. Dan's staff and I have viewed many insurance quotes the past couple of years to try and find the best possible fit in meeting church required coverages at the best cost. St. John Lutheran finance team is always trying to reduce church related expenses. | |
