"God is the source of every mercy and is the God who comforts us. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When others are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 |

Why a Resource Center? |
Have you ever experienced a difficult time? Have you ever faced a crisis and struggle in your life? If you have not, give it time! But many people have struggles of all sorts and do not know where to turn. Not everyone, especially during crises, can locate the agencies, support groups and contact people that can help them through their stuggles. There is nothing more comforting and life directing then talking to someone who has experienced similar issues.
Many agencies and self-help groups are available as well as church groups, but there seems to be a lack of communication between them as a lack of networking and even knowledge of what each other offer. It became apparent that one place needed to have available the resources needed to help others without the barriers of county lines, limiting services due to grant regulations and state funding. It also was necessary to pull all of the support groups and msh them with agency help to offer the person in crisis a well-rounded sense of assistance. |

Our Mission |
|
Serve those communities around us and to become a known place to call, should anyone need help and direction. We also plan to sponsor workshops and informational meetings that are specifically directed to those areas of difficulty. It is our desire to hlep facilitate anyone who needs to find more inforamtion or support without the added frustration of wading through myriad offers of help that just do not apply. We will be able to help others find the agencies and groups that can make them feel less alone during a difficult time, as well as, help them solve and rise above the difficulty.
