Our S.A.L.T. BOX Kitchen along with our Sunday night Contemporary Worship Service at 6:30 pm. You should really think about visiting one of these, as it would be a great experience. The S.A.L.T. BOX kitchen serves free meals on the 2nd and last Sundays of each month from 4-6 pm for a free supper and plenty of fellowship. We continue to serve 80 - 100 people each month at the S.A.L.T. Box kitchen. We currently have eight (8) people who pick up food donations for the S.A.L.T. Box. We are still looking for several more people to assist in picking up the food donations. If you are interested, please contact the church office.
We want to encourage everyone to come and see what the Saltbox kitchen is all about. Come on a Sunday evening to enjoy a great meal and see the power of this important ministry. The Saltbox offers more than just a meal to many people - it provides friendship, a listening ear, a welcoming surrounding, a bit of peace in a challenging world.
Please come and check out this great ministry of St. John. If you have some time to help out, the kitchen is in need of helpers. No long commitment is demanded or expected - just do what and when you are able.
The Contemporary Worship Service is every Sunday evening at 6:30. At this service, our band is comprised of members from our church family and they use their gifts and talents to praise and worship the Lord in a relaxed environment. It is exciting and is a great environment for families.
S.A.L.T. Box Building Activities: If you are interested in utilizing the S.A.L.T. Box building for an activity and would like to know if it is available, please contact either Peg Blowers (330-905-8513) or Brenda White (330-854-0812). Please also specify if you would like to use the upstairs or downstairs, times and description of the activity. Details on rental fees will be forth coming.
