S.A.L.T. BOX Ministries |
Recently there has been a new addition to our church ministry. We, as a church are serving the community in three new ways. Our brand new S.A.L.T. BOX Kitchen and Resource Center, along with our Saturday night Contemporary Worship Service at 5:00 pm. You should really think about visiting one of these, as it would be a great experience. The S.A.L.T. BOX kitchen serves the needy the last Sunday of each month from 4-6 pm for a free supper and plenty of fellowship. The Saturday Contemporary Worship Service is every Saturday evening at 5:00. At this service, our band is comprised of members from our church family and they use their gifts and talents to praise and worship the Lord in a relaxed environment. It is exciting and is a great environment for families. The Resource Center will be up and running within the next few months. This center is designed to offer information regarding many issues including: crisis pregnancy, mental health, gereateric challenges, alcohol and drug abuse, child care, grief support and recovery and special needs children. All of these services are truly a blessing and we hope you will help in any way you can.

Our Hat, Glove and Scarf Christmas Tree |

|
As much as we hate to see it, cold weather will be coming at us soon. There are those who do not always have protection against the weather . In November and December, the S.A.L.T Box Kitchen will have a Christmas tree set up in the eating area that we would like to fill with mittens, gloves, hats and scarves for our guests to take if needed. We also will accept slightly worn coats or jackets for those in need. We will be collecting these during the month of October. If you would like to donate items, please place them in the box under the coat rack in the main hall of the church or see Vicky Shank or Brenda White | |
