St John's Church Council
Our church council is made up of 11 special individuals. The officers are elected by our congregation with various terms for each position. The council has the general oversight of the life and activities of our congregation and in particular its worship life, to the end that everything is done in accordance with the Word of God and the faith and practice of the ELCA. We are very proud of our members and look for their guidance to strengthen and grow our church family.

Mother-Daughter Tea
Over 50 Mother's and Daughter's attended our annual Mother/Daughter dinner. The theme was "Foods of the Bible" and Janet Kurtz gave an unforgettable program and something for us all to think about. Dinner was prepared by the men of the church with a wonderful spaghetti dinner, salad and cake. We ended up with the song "Mother" lead by Janet Suderow. It was a wonderful evening to celebrate God's gift to all of us, "Our Mother's".

Christmas Tea
In December, the women of the church came together for a wonderful evening of great entertainment and wonderful cookies and tea for the Christmas Tea. We were entertained by Dance Consolations. They were a wonderful team dancers that lightened our hearts and brought smiles to our faces. It was great evening and got us in the Christmas spirit.
Serving And Loving Together-We are very excited to be preparing meals to the needy in our community. Our volunteers are full of energy and ready to serve the Lord through his many gifts of the food that has been provided and donated from our Community.
The kitchen staff runs a tight ship. They assist the cooks and prepare the servings to be given to all of our guests.
