The Church Council is in the process of reorganizing the committees of Salem.  The Constitution of this congregation calls for the following committees:

Christian Education: Oversees all educational ministries including Sunday Church School, Confirmation Classes, and Adult Education.

Property: Oversees the proper maintenance, protection, and repair of all congregational property.

Evangelism: Oversees all activities designed to proclaim the Gospel message to the community and to invite the members of the community to become part of Salem's congregation.

Finance: Oversees all expenditures and investments of the congregation.

Social Ministry: Oversees all ministries of the congregation designed to extend Christian helpfulness and compassion to those in need.

Stewardship: Encourages the members to respond through gifts, money, and time to all that God has given them.

Parish Life: Oversees all fellowship activities.

Worship and Music: Oversees all services of worship as well as oversees the activities of the choir and other musical events.

Youth Ministry: Oversees and promotes all ministry opportunities with youth.
