THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to the CROP Walk on Sunday, November 2nd! There was a very good turn out from all over, even as far away as Florida and Tennessee. My guess is over half of them were Lutheran. Overall we surpassed our goal and St. John's memberst contributed $130. -Pastor Anderson

CALLING ALL WILD WOMEN OF SOUTH CAROLINA!!! On March 19-21, 2004, all "Wild Women" of South Carolina will gather at Lutheridge to give thanks for the women of faith who have shaped our lives. Pastor Mary Canniff-Kuhn will lead this study of "Wild Women" of the Bible as we aspire to be like them. The program begins after dinner on Friday and continues through Sunday worship and brunch. Saturday afternoon is free to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. Cost of the retreat is $135 per adult with lodging in Thornburg, Bacot, Carla, or H&H. The fee includes housing, meals, and all program costs.
LUTHERAN HOSPICE NEEDS YOUR HELP! The holidays are approaching and Lutheran Hospice needs your help this season. LTSS Student Mission Scholarship Program: Philip Bouknight, and several members of St. Paul's Luteran in Roanoke, Virginia, are planning a Mission Trip to Malawi in July 2004, taking with them up to $50,000 in pharmaceutical supplies donated by King Pharmaceuticals in Bristol, TN.
