Good Shepherd Newsletter

Rally Day is Sunday September 13th and we will be
having a luncheon following service. Hot dogs, buns, and drinks
will be provided. A sign up poster is in the fellowship hall for
anyone to sign up for bringing a side dish or desert.
The Good Shepherd Youth will begin meeting
on September 20th at 4:00pm. Our schedule is the first and third
Sundays of the month, youth from 6th thru 12th grade are invited to
attend. We will be doing our fall roadside cleanup on Saturday the
19th.
Alzheimer's Memory Walk - The Good
Shepherd Lutheran Youth will be participating in the Memory Walk again
this year. Come out to Chick-fil-A at Berkery Commons on the
following dates, between 5:00-8:00pm, to support our team on Friday,
September 11th and Thursday, September 24th. By presenting the
"Spirit Night" card, a % of your purchase will go to the Alzheimer's
Memory Walk.
Special Congregational meeting Sunday September
20th.
Semi Annual Yard Sale is scheduled to
Saturday, October 10th from 8:00am - 3:00pm. Setup will be Friday, May
8th Noon - 7:00pm. Please bring your donations to the church on
Thursday or Friday and if possible stay and help with the setup, we need all the
help we can get. Tax deduction slips are available for your
donated items.
