Due to popular demand, we've added another night!  Tuesday, September 25th ? Ladies Night at the Melting Pot No. 2 ? Calling all ladies for an evening filled with drinks, fondue and spectacular women speakers!  Gather up your closest friends and enjoy four courses of fantastic fondue at the Melting Pot in Appleton at 6pm. Saturday, October 20th ? Thrivent Fall Festival
The East Outagamie and West Outagamie Chapters are partnering to hold a celebration of the fall season!  Come join us for a day filled with many activities, see the array of carved pumpkins and even join in and decorate pumpkins with the whole family!  Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 20th from 10am ? 2pm at Pierce Park, 1035 W Prospect Ave.,  Appleton.  Lunch served 11:30am ? 1pm. You might just become part of the show in this spooky mystery event featuring professional actors, wine service and a full dinner!  The fun begins at 6pm and leads to a night filled with laughter, fun and a chance to solve a mystery.  Last year?s event was so popular we had to move to the Radisson Paper Valley, downtown Appleton to accommodate more attendees this year!  It?s the one event people are dying to attend. Thrivent Expands Choice DollarsŪ Grant Funds Recipient Organizations
Thrivent Financial recognizes that its members represent a broad demographic with varying passions and charitable interests. So, in fall 2011, members were asked who should select organizations eligible to receive Thrivent Choice DollarsŪ grant funds.  Benefit members who voted said they want "individual members through their local chapter" to have a greater say in which organizations could participate in the program. After reviewing this feedback, Thrivent Financial has decided to allow benefit members to make recommendations through Thrivent Choice to a broader range of organizations.  If you have questions, please contact a representative from the Member Connection Center at 800-THRIVENT (800-847-4836) and say "Thrivent Choice" when prompted or email

We're offering members a smaller version of the annual Thrivent Financial wall calendar again this year. It's a free offer from Thrivent magazine. The 2013 wall calendar features unique photos taken by Thrivent members that illustrate favorite hymns. The 9-by-12-inch calendar also includes principal seasons and festivals from the three largest Lutheran church bodies.

The traditional 14-by-13-inch calendar will continue to be distributed to churches, schools and Lutheran institutions. The smaller version is intended to give all members the chance to enjoy the amazing photos submitted by members.

Turn your "LIKE" into a $5,000 Donation Toward Local Habitat Projects
The East Outagamie Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans invites members and friends to help raise funds for the support of Habitat for Humanity in the Fox Valley.  You can help raise funds for the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity Affiliate by simply ?LIKING? the East Outagamie Chapter on Facebook.
