Timeframe to conduct chapter annual election meetings

December 20

The last day any requests for 2007 chapter Care program funds can be requested by chapter  leadership boards and congregational coordinators.
The last day that previously approved funding amounts can be changed.
The last day that additional disbursements can be added to an existing activity.
Important: The Care programs are annual programs, and funds do not carry over from one year to the next. Requests to use current year funding must be made in the year the activity is being held. For example, you cannot request funding from 2007 funds for an activity that will be held in 2008.

Dec. 21 - Jan. 7

Activity requests cannot be entered. A blackout period on the system will not allow anyone to request funds for activities during this time.

December 31

Report 2007 activities by this date.
All 2007 chapter operating funds expenses must be reported on the Manage Chapter Operating Funds screens.
Chapters must submit new Chapter Depository Authorization (bank signature card) by this date if any of the signers are changing from 2007. We recommend two chapter leaders (e.g., financial and asst, financial dir.) have the authority to sign checks and access online banking for the chapter.
Chapters need to enter 2008 elected leaders by this date.
TB chapter specialists and/or congregational champions to report all 2007 Thrivent Builds activities.

January 8 Chapter leaders and CCs may begin entering 2008 requests on-line
Early January First of two 2008 chapter operating funds deposit made
