WHY:  We are offering you a great deal on ticket prices.  You can show your support for Thrivent Builds while you enjoy a great game and some good old-fashioned Lutheran fellowship. How does this help Thrivent Builds?  For each ticket you purchase, $5.00 will go to a Thrivent Builds project in our area.  

We have a limited number of tickets available for our chapter and they are being offered to you, as Iowa County Chapter members, on a first-come, first-serve basis.  As an incentive for you to attend, our chapter will be paying $5.00 of the ticket price for you from our chapter operating funds.  Ticket prices after the $5.00 deduction will be as follows:

1.  $19.00 - Field Outfield Box - There is no exact choice of sections available to you, but these tickets will be in the following sections:  Sections 106-108, 128-131.

2.  $14.00 - Loge Bleachers - These tickets will be in the following sections:  Sections 201, 203, 204, 205, 237.

3.  $7.00 - Terrace Reserved - These tickets will be in the following sections:  Section 404-408, 433-434.

TICKET ORDER INFORMATION:  Because there is a limited number of tickets available in each category, please order your tickets as soon as possible by contacting Cathy Bramlett by telephone (608-935-9317) or by email (kathleen.bramlett@thrivent.com) with the number and type of tickets that you want (Field Outfield Box, Loge Bleachers, or Terrace Reserved).  She will then make arrangements with you for the payment and acquisition  of the tickets (preferably, by picking them up and paying for them at her office at 214 E. Grace Street in Dodgeville).  She will also answer any questions you may have.

WAITING LIST:  If all of the tickets are gone when you contact Cathy, she will put your name on a waiting list and you will be contacted if additional tickets become available to our chapter.

BUS:  Please let us know as soon as possible if you would be interested in riding a bus to the game.  If there is enough interest shown, we will try to charter a bus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
1.  The Miller Park parking lot opens at 3:00 p.m.
2.  Stadium gates open at 4:00 p.m.
3.  General parking for cars is $8 in advance, $10 game day.
4.  Preferred parking for cars is $12 in advance, $18 game day.

5  Thrivent Builds mobile will be at Miller Park in the Plaza between Fridays and home plate on the North side of Miller Park.
6.  Members attending Thrivent Builds night will receive a coupon for a complimentary Thrivent Builds keepsake that they can pick up at the Thrivent Builds mobile.
7.  The Brewer/Klements Racing Sausages are tentatively scheduled to be by the Thrivent Builds mobile before the game pending pre-game festivities.
8.  All chapters with members in attendance will be recognized on the jumbo tron at some point during the game.
9.  Funds raised for Thrivent Builds will be prorated and distributed back to your local builds.

The JOIN HANDS DAY activity can be a HANDS-ON ACTIVITY in which the funds are used to purchase supplies for your activity OR, the project can be a FUNDRAISER ACTIVITY in which youth and adults gather together to raise money for a community or church project.  How Can Your Congregation Plan a Join Hands Day Fundraiser?
1.  Identify a need in the community and form a service team that involves individuals or families from at least six separate Thrivent Finanical member households.
2. Plan your activity.  Will it be a hands-on activity or a fundraiser?  When will it be held?
3. Contact Jean Christen at 608-967-2349 with any questions.
4. Complete the "JOIN HANDS DAY Request for Funding" form. Please see our chapter website (information follows) or contact Cathy Bramlett (608-935-9317).  This form should be completed BEFORE your activity for approval by the board. Mail the form to:  Ms. Jean Christen, Financial Director

5. Advertise and conduct your activity.
6. After your activity, fill out a "JOIN HANDS DAY Report Activity Results" form and mail it to Jean Christen by JULY 13, 2009.
