Please plan on attending our congregational coordinator training and recognition event to be held on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pizza Hut pizza, fruit salad, cookies, coffee, and lemonade. All congregational coordinators and chapter board members in attendance will receive a $10 gas card from Kwik Trip. Thrivent napkins and Thrivent paper and foam cups will be available for you as congregational coordinators to take back to your congregations if you need them. The Iowa County Chapter Leadership Board meets each month on the second Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville. All Thrivent members and especially the congregational coordinators are welcome to attend. If you would like to attend, just come, or contact any board member for information.

Through Care Abounds in Communities®, anyone in our chapter can organize a community service team and help others. It doesn't take a lot of time or a long-term commitment! Contact any chapter leader for information on applying for supplemental funds for your activity.
