| APPLICATIONS FOR FUNDING ARE AVAILABLE |
Your chapter board meets monthly to review applications for supplemental funds from Thrivent's Care Abounds in Communities program. We also plan social and educational events for you, our members. Many of our events are offered at reduced prices or at no cost to you. Should you have any suggestions of events for us to pursue, please call Steve McElroy with your ideas! (920-394-3777). Through Care Abounds in Communities®, anyone in our chapter can organize a community service team and help others. Should you plan an upcoming event and wish to be considered for supplemental funding, please call Marlene Neuman, 920-398-2995, for an application packet. After forming a service team (six Thrivent member households), and completing your application, we request you attend one of our meetings prior to the event to present your activity. Last year, our chapter gave out over $20,000 of Care Abounds in Community funding. It doesn't take a lot of time or a long-term commitment! We encourage you to apply.
