Thrivent members of Grant County are invited to a baseball game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Cincinnati Reds at Miller Park on Saturday, May 30th. Cost of the trip is $25 which includes chartered bus fare to and from Miller Park from Platteville and a Loge area ticket (Sections 201, 203-205, 237). Meals are not included.

The bus will leave the parking lot of Lutheran Church of Peace in Platteville at 2:30 p.m. on May 30th.

Teach Your Kids to Share Day - Henry Vilas Zoo, Madison, WI

On the evening of April 24, families across the country will come together for a lively and interactive educational experience. Using innovative tools and techniques, the event focuses on a values-based approach to money management. Together, families will: Explore ways kids can share, save and spend. Discuss the importance of being responsible with money. Build a financial foundation for children that will last a lifetime. What can participants expect? A $10 per family registration fee will get participants pizza, activities, prizes—and stuff to take home! Parents will gain a better understanding of why it's important to teach kids about financial principles. Kids will learn how even small decisions regarding money can make a big difference. CESA #3 Champion Games, Boscobel, WI - Join Hands Day Event 2008

Please volunteer at and join us for the fun and excitement at the 17th annual CESA #3 Champion Games! This is a unique opportunity for special education and disabled students, along with non-special education peer, to participate in track and field and other special activities. Funds from Thrivent will help to cover some of the lunch and snack expenses. Volunteers help with the various games.
