Overall, the Adams County WI Chapter has 1,102 Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members who, along with Lutheran congregations in the area, join together to volunteer in the local community. The Adams County WI Chapter is one of nearly 1,400 geographic groups of Thrivent Financial members making a difference for organizations, congregations and individuals in need within their communities. In helping Communities and congregations, Chapter activities infused Adams County’s needy causes with $66,158. From holding a community-wide auction to raise funds for a child with cancer, to building a handicap-accessible play area at a local park, our members make a difference every day through this chapter system.
57 service and fund-raising activities were conducted by the Adams County WI Chapter, resulting in 19,409 volunteer hours. Funds raised by these local teams totaled $45,088, which were combined with $21,070 from Thrivent Financial to multiply the good done together.
Through Adams Chapter’s alliance with Habitat for Humanity, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans contributed $538,463 to support ‘Thrivent Builds Projects’ in our Wisconsin region. Our members raised an additional $71,417 and committed 14,030 volunteer hours to help build 7 homes in the region.
