| A Good time Was Had by All |
October 14, 2007 Adams County Thrivent Annual Meeting
A great time was had by all.
Thrivent members from every Lutheran congregation in Adams County met for fellowship and fun.
Karmen and Greg of Mauston entertained us with Christian comedy and song.
The pig roast with all the tasty trimmings permitted everyone to eat well.
Some people met new Thrivent members; others enjoyed old friends.
Dwala Smail and Bill Petri stirred all by summarizing Thrivent’s volunteering results and future plans. The numbers of volunteer hours and funds raise were well into the thousands and tens of thousands -- almost too much to fathom.
Everyone received nominal gifts. Some received great raffle prizes.

We are currently seeking Thrivent Builds Chapter Specialists and Congregational Champions to help make the dream of homeownership a reality for families in our community.
Chapter Specialists work with interested congregations, local Thrivent Financial staff, local Habitat for Humanity affiliates and partner families to help plan Thrivent Builds Homes projects.
Congregational Champions work within the congregation to help coordinate the congregation's efforts in Thrivent Builds Homes projects.
